Spratt visits EDM Spanwall

Castlereagh Councillor and South Belfast DUP MLA Jimmy Spratt today visited EDM Spanwall in Carryduff as part of a delegation from Castlereagh Council.

 

Commenting, Mr. Spratt said:

 

‘EDM Spanwall is an innovative company, based in Carryduff, which has been designing and manufacturing wall cladding systems for over 30 years.  Castlereagh Council has devised a strategy to build relationships with local businesses which is particularly important in these harsh economic times. This strategy also extends to establishing links with the Assembly which will provide a direct link to key decision-makers. The company has been actively taking part in the Council’s business programmes and I welcome the discussions held today which focussed on EDM’s role in the design of the Titanic Signature Building which will bring a major boost to the tourism sector in Belfast. EDM is a valued local employer which makes a major contribution to the Northern Ireland economy. ”
